I create one-of-a-kind abstract oil paintings that explore the balance between color, movement, and composition. Each piece is an intuitive process, guided by both deliberate technique and spontaneous expression. I work in layered applications, building depth through texture, color, and contrast, allowing colors to interact and evolve organically. Movement is essential in my work, often achieved through fluid brushwork and gestural marks that give each painting a sense of energy and life.
There is a meditative, almost Zen-like state I enter while painting. In that space, inspiration flows more freely, and I become fully immersed in the work. This allows me to respond intuitively rather than analytically, creating a dialogue between myself and the canvas. It’s in this state that emotions surface and are translated into visual form, giving each piece an authentic and deeply personal foundation.
My intention is to create work that is not only visually compelling but also emotionally resonant. I want viewers to form their own connection, to see something of themselves within the layers, movement, and color. Rather than dictating a single meaning, I aim to create space for interpretation, where each piece can hold different significance for different people.
At its core, my work is about authenticity, staying true to my own experiences and emotions while inviting others to explore theirs. Through abstraction, I hope to convey the complexity of feeling, the beauty of transformation, and the quiet power of introspection.
